WHO WE ARE
Gurkha House offers you a wide range of typical Nepalese traditional cuisine and a variety of other delicacies. A lot of our recipes and ingredients are from Nepal prepared by Nepalese chef who has extensive experience in the food industry.

Our philosophy to success is hard work, honesty, reliability; good management and care for all our customers as well as employees.

FOUNDER / CEO: GOKARNA CHUNGBANG (GC)
Gurkha House was set up by an ex-British Army (former Gurkha) soldier with 22 years of military service, has served with various Regiments around the world; including operational tours and held various military management appointments. Is also the recipient of the Certificate of Commendation Award for distinguished service from King Charles, in support of the UN for OPERATION SILKMAN in Sierra Leone. He retired as an Honorary Lieutenant (Queen’s Gurkha Officer).

With his wider management and security experience, he established Everest Security Limited in 2004. Since then, the company has moved from strength to strength under his leadership and management. He now operates and runs more than 5 limited companies.

OUR AIM
Our aim is to provide authentic, fresh, rich in culture Nepalese food very famously eaten among Gurkha soldiers. Our customers will get the full experience of dining in a traditional Nepalese theme.

OUR FOOD
Our food is cooked with freshly made in-house ingredients and is combined with our Head Chef’s international culinary skills to give you that unique ‘Asiaromatic’ taste. Popular dishes we serve are the Nepalese and Indian style tandoori cuisine prepared by our Head Chef . Our innovated Indian and Nepalese cuisine offers a tasty meal to give you a fun, formal dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere.

We always use the finest produce and the best ingredients to give our customers an authentic dining experience. We prepare our food and meat on a daily basis, so you always get the fresh taste and flavour out of it and we do offer collection and delivery services aswell as caterings.
